Animated imagery based on sound levels &

AUDIO VISUALISATION
Audio visualisation is a feature that generates animated imagery based on a piece of music. The imagery is generated and rendered in real time and synchronised with the music as it is played.
Now you’re able not only listen to the music, but also see it in different colour schemes. The combination of spectrum view and timeline makes it possible to see all melody and rhythm from start to finish.
HOW THE TREE COLOURS WORK
PINK: is controlled by the sound levels of the music.
YELLOW: is controlled by your movements in front of the webcam.
BLUE: is created when you click with the mouse on the canvas.

gorgeous! do u think this would be possible via html5?
Christian Alex Andersen, September 6th, 2011 10:35 am
Hi Ben.
It is possible to do audio visualisation in HTML5. I’m going to do a HTML5 version and post some documentation on the subject.
Grant Skinner built a great audio visualisation example using HTML5 and JS. You can see the example here: http://easeljs.com/demos/MusicVisualizer/index2.html and get the source code and documentation here: http://gskinner.com/blog/archives/2011/03/music-visualizer-in-html5-js-with-source-code.html
